Physiotherapist report

I saw the physiotherapist yesterday. She had read my MRI results and did some more reflex testing on me. She noticed some differences between my right and left. She also said that since the MRI only showed a slight bulging disc, nothing that would affect my ankle she is going to recommend that I go back to the doctor for some neurology testing. There wasn't much more she could do. She was going to write a note to the doctor and let her know the progress I had made.

I got a call from the doctor's office this morning but I didn't see that I had a message until after my chiropractor's appointment. In the message she said that the doctor had a "few concerns". Hmm, I better go pick up that report from the physiotherapist! I went over to the physiotherapist clinic and picked up the note she left me, that she had already faxed to the doctor. I glanced at it, but didn't really give it a good read. At least I didn't understand it. There were a lot of big words. I was going to call the doctor's office when I got back to work, but then I remembered that they closed at noon on Wednesdays. That meant having to wait another day.

Later in the day, I re-read the report. I noticed this line

"She presents with a positive Babinski reflex on the left foot and hyper-reflexive deep tendon reflexes"

Babinski reflex. What is that? and I found this. Ugh... look at all the possible causes. Yuck. I'm such a hypochondriac. I need to stop researching this stuff.

Hoping to make a doctor's appointment soon. I booked a neurologist appointment for June 26th (ya, I know outrageous and that involves another story). The doctor may decide to try to get another earlier appointment, but I will have to wait and see.

I'm hoping this means that doctor's will get to the bottom of this soon.
